Unique property in Jimena

This property is a one of a kind, as it has all the features of a country house, yet is conveniently placed in a quiet area in the historical village of Jimena de la Frontera. The nearly 400 m2 house has many traditional traits throughout, while also having clean lines and a very spacious feel.

Main floor;

You walk in through a majestic antique wooden door and enter into the foyer, where you find yourself in a beautiful open space consisting of dining room, living room (both of which shares a double sided wood burning stove), fully fitted kitchen with sky light and a lounge area/office. The living room has an extra space extending out into the patio, which could also be a 5th bedroom, office or other. From the living room a sliding glass door leads out to a cozy stone terrace with views of the garden to the East.

The stairway from the lounge area to the West leads to a landing with a bathroom on the right and a spacious bedroom in front. This has a built in wardrobe, A/C and access to the ample roof terrace overlooking the patio and pool.

Up a few steps from the kitchen there is a washroom to the right followed by a utility area and a big walk-in shower. Through another door, the West wing can be accessed, though it has its own main entrance from the patio and another from the barbecue area. On this main floor you find the entrance hall and a bedroom at the end with open beams in the ceiling. A stairway leads to the West wing’s 1st floor where another terrace door gives access to the roof terrace, continuing down the a hallway to a bathroom and two bright bedrooms. Though these two bedrooms are connected, the rear bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and entrance from the covered barbecue area.

The covered patio/barbecue area is located next to the pool and is also connected to the garage at the rear. The garage space can easily hold two cars, bikes, storage and even a work shop. A door to the East opens into a paved area that further leads around the garage and out via a gate to the rear.

Besides the stone terrace, the garden to the East can also be entered via a gateway next to the pool showcased by two big stone eagles. A solid ramp takes you down to the fish pond and a natural tropical garden with many different bushes, flowers, and trees. Grass could easily be grown to make a spectacular lawn for kids and pets or the space would make a lovely vegetable garden.

This property is one of very few that enjoys all the country house facilities with the convenience of being in a historical village.
